Both Chris & Catherine feel very passionately that Tennis should be available for everyone. They have both worked in big (& expensive!) clubs and for academies where coaching not affordable for all. G Tennis offers some of the cheapest group coaching in London and even has free sessions every week subsidised by us and funded through our sponsors and local charities. We also have a weekly drop in session for £2. G Tennis also run Tennis in the schools, where we have approximately 120 children playing weekly for free as part of their PE curriculum. G Tennis also run breakfast and after school clubs, where children can play for as little as £2 per session.
Join any of my courses to develop your skillset in a professional and positive environment, and start playing today. We also offer private coaching for adults and children and group coaching too.
Our aim is to give anyone who comes the confidence to give tennis a go. Whether that is by helping with coordination or building confidence through learning better racket control. See you on the courts :)
We want your child to fall in love with tennis. Our sessions are fun but informative, your child will learn tennis skills but also develop agility, balance, coordination and speed. We think its essential to build an athlete as well as a tennis player.
After School clubs:
After school classes take place during the weekday. Group ratios remain small, with no more than 6 players to a coach and 4 with the under 8's. Ages start from 4 years old and go up to 12 years. We follow the mini tennis systems of red, orange, green balls depending on the players age and ability.
Our tennis camps are a great way to practice tennis skills or to introduce your child to tennis for the first time. They are based around fun games, making friends, and winning prizes.
Learn tennis skills in a small group, maximum 1:6 ration of coach to player. We offer four levels of group coaching. If you're unsure where you would fit in we can arrange a trial class.
Beginner: For those new to tennis.
Improver: For those who have done a beginner course and are ready to move on to more technical themes.
Intermediate: For players who are able to rally with consistency and play points, serve with confidence.
Advanced: For regular players, looking to improve tactical understanding, speciality shots and match play.
We offer both breakfast & after school clubs as well as curriculum sessions during P.E time. Chris who heads up the schools program is an LTA Schools Teacher Tutor. We know how to Taylor a session for up to 30 children and keep them all involved at the same time. We can do a session in the playground or small sports hall. The main focus of the session is to improve coordination and develop balls sense. Please have a look at comments from some of the teachers on our testimonials page.
