Kids coaching

We want your child to fall in love with tennis. Our sessions are fun but informative, your child will learn tennis skills but also develop agility, balance, coordination and speed. We think its essential to build an athlete as well as a tennis player.

After School clubs:

After school classes take place during the weekday. Group ratios remain small, with no more than 6 players to a coach and 4 with the under 8's.  Ages start from 4 years old and go up to 12 years. We follow the mini tennis systems of red, orange, green balls depending on the players age and ability.

Holiday Camps:

Our tennis camps are a great way to practice tennis skills or to introduce your child to tennis for the first time. They are based around fun games, making friends, and winning prizes.

Adult coaching

Learn tennis skills in a small group, maximum 1:6 ration of coach to player. We offer four levels of group coaching. If you're unsure where you would fit in we can arrange a trial class.

Beginner: For those new to tennis wanting to learn fundamental technique & ball control to rally.

Improver: For those who have done a beginner course and have enough control to rally.  You must be able to start a point with a serve and be able to hit a forehand & backhand.

Intermediate: For players who are able to rally with consistency, play points and serve with confidence.  With focus on learning to hit with more spins, be confident at the net and play using different tactics.

Advanced: For regular players, looking to improve tactical understanding, speciality shots and match play.

Schools Coaching

Chris who heads up the schools program is an LTA Schools Teacher Tutor.   We know how to tailor a session for up to 30 children and keep them all involved at the same time.  We can do a session in the playground or small sports hall.  The main focus of the session is to improve coordination, develop balls sense and also improve confidence.  Please have a look at comments from some of the teachers on our testimonials page.

We make sure the children are learning the most important skills in line with the relevant key stage curriculum.  Tennis has so many transferrable skills and we keep the sessions as dynamic and active as possible.
